Horizon RS1250 Tests with MotorCycle
 
Battery #1 was recieved at 12.6V
Battery #2 was recieved at 12.8V
Battery #1 & #2 were charged at 14.9V until taper down to 1 amp.
Battery #1 was 11.1V after first test on motorcycle.
Battery #2 was 12.4V after first test on motorcycle.
RS1250's supplied 600 amps on launch of motorcycle with high gearing.
Recharged both to 14.9V with taper down to 1 amp.
Changed gearing on motorcycle for better acceleration and less amps on motor.
Now at 300 amps on launch.
Monitored batteries as 300 amps were applied with launch of motorcycle.
Battery # 1 went down to 2.1Volts with 300 amps.
Battery #2 went down to 8.5 Volts with 300 amps.
Suspect problem with Battery #1.
Problem confirmed with battery #1 on third test at 300 amps when heard noise and looked down
and battery #1 was shooting out what looked like candle wax.
