In order to Test & Perfect the Poorman items that are built and installed, I will be Racing the Chevelle and Kawasaki in the National
Electric Drag Racing Association. (www.nedra.com)
Hopefully I can pick up some World Records along the way
and learn a few things. I have never before been through the staging lights at a track, so that will be something in itself.
I have certainly
made a number of improvements to these cars, which will hopefully be reflected in my performance on the day. Whilst these
motors might not be of a good enough standard to qualify for breakdown cover, they should at least be able to make it across the finish line - and hopefully
in record timing. I have already run several tests in order to calculate the speed and ability of the cars which I plan to
race, and make sure they stand a good chance against the competition.
