Charging your batteries for Less!

Two old Telco rectifiers in Series for my 96 Volts

This works really nice and amperage on both follow each other perfectly

Have you researched the price of battery chargers for Electric Vehicles? For the Voltage we need , they are expensive. One solution I have found is to buy off the shelf 10 amp deep cycle chargers and put them in series to obtain your desired voltage. My self , I use two 48 volt chargers in series for my 96 volt system. I get these chargers free from Telecommunication retrofits. They junk these when they put in new chargers. These are  top of the line chargers, just a little older, with current limit, float and equalize settings and much more. Most deep cycle chargers will bulk charge up to 14.4 volts and then drop back to 13.5 volts. This may not be "perfect" for all batteries, but will not kill your batteries as some of the non-deep cycle chargers if left unattended. I use 2 of these deep cycle chargers(one "Everstart" and one "Minn-Kota") in series for all of my 24 volt charging like my electric lawn mower and electric scooters. Even though they are different they work well together in series. Again, not perfect, but will get you running until you can afford something better.

These chargers are for all my 24 volt needs
